CEI Leads Coalition Urging Swift Senate Vote on Trump NLRB Nominees

The Competitive Enterprise Institute today sent a coalition letter to the Senate urging swift confirmation of President Trump’s two nominees to fill vacancies on the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the powerful independent agency that governs most private-sector labor relations. The letter, signed by 14 free market public policy groups, explains why reforms must be started immediately: because the board has in recent years upended long-standing rules that impact businesses and workers, namely joint employer liability and rules concerning union elections. 
“Filling the vacant seats on the Board will enable the agency to take up desperately needed reform — and repeal of harmful rules,” the letter explains.
