In January, six men allegedly drugged and raped a young Muslim girl, holding her captive and eventually murdering her. This has created a divide in India’s majority Hindu community. While many people condemned the awful crime, a small but vocal minority argued that the negative news coverage is intended to defame all of Hinduism. AEI’s Sadanand Dhume explains why the charge of defamation is far from the truth.
