Kissimmee Fallen Officers to be Remembered at Local John Birch Society Event
Appleton, Wis.- 
Two fallen heroes of the Kissimmee Police Department will be remembered at The John Birch Society Leadership Briefing, on January 26, in Jacksonville. The Society’s affiliate Law Enforcement Charitable Foundation (LECF) will present two certificates along with two plaques to Kissimmee Police Captain Jeff Tambasco recognizing Officer Matthew Baxter and Sergeant Richard “Sam” Howard’s ultimate sacrifice. The families of the fallen officers will also be receiving a check presented by LECF President Jim Fitzgerald, retired Newark, N.J. detective.
 
The Leadership Briefing is open to the media and public. The event will begin at 6:00 PM, consisting of the LECF certificate presentation at approximately 7:30 PM, followed by an educational presentation by one of the top
