Klown of the Week – Senator Jim Inhofe

The Kartel Klown represents the individual or organization that has taken action in the past week that allows them to stand out from the crowd as foolish at best.  The Kartel Klown is an achievement for the week, but a title for eternity…

The Kartel Klown from this past week (ending 09/27/2014) is the Republican United States Senator from Oklahoma, Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK)Heritage ActionScorecardSen. James Inhofe79%Senate Republican Average29See Full Scorecard79%.  It was discovered that Inhofe took part in an act apparently referred to as a “Pigeon Shoot” while at a campaign event earlier this month.  The name “Pigeon Shoot” is very accurate as it is described as throwing pigeons up in the air, while a group only yards away fire on them with shotguns.  Inhofe defended the act, describing it as sport and tradition.  Senator Inhofe has managed to navigate daily life for 80 years, and never obtained the wisdom to differ actual sport and killing an animal for the simple purpose of watching it die.  Inhofe joins a list of other well know Americans that have gained excitement from the killing of animals without purpose such as Jeffrey Dahmer and Michael Vick.  The Kartel supports the 2nd Amendment and the sport of hunting, but it is apparent we may need legislation to prevent actions such as a “Pigeon Shoot”.  Sadly many of our laws are a waste of time to most, but needed for men of such low character as Sen. Full disclosure requires us to note that we did not think highly of Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK)Heritage ActionScorecardSen. James Inhofe79%Senate Republican Average29See Full Scorecard79% before he thought it was a good idea to slaughter live animals for no reason.  Inhofe, with about 20 of his senate colleagues, represent one of the largest problems in national politics today.  Inhofe represents a state with a conservative population, and he utilizes the state party to hold down the majority of Primary Election competition.  This leaves the voters with little choice as they do not wish to empower a liberal agenda, and have to send Inhofe back to Washington.  Inhofe has “served” in congress since the Reagan Administration, and at 79 years old refuses to walk away from the power and privilege the Senate provides.  It is not about the 79 years, but the 25 years in Congress.  Nothing will truly change until we term limit individuals like Senator Inhofe.

  1. I am not sure I agree with the reasoning, but he should have been removed in Primary Election for many other reasons.
