Mexico President-Elect’s Amnesty, Anti-Crime Plans Face Criticism

On the heels of his election victory, Mexico’s leftist president-elect Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador says he will keep troops in the streets to fight crime but also plans to pursue controversial amnesty legislation, in a bid to reduce violence in the country.
