‘You would have to pick him up off the floor’: Dem governor talks tough toward Trump

On a day when the political world was beside itself over President Donald Trump’s alleged vulgar comments about Haiti and African nations, Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe had some inflammatory comments of his own.
The Democrat was speaking with Chris Matthews on MSNBC’s “Hardball” on Thursday night when Matthews asked about Trump’s demeanor during a debate with Hillary Clinton.
“I know Hillary’s a friend of yours and she’s a strong person, but he did that thing of leaving over her, in that weird Godzilla way during the debate. What would you do in a debate with him if he tried that?” Matthews asked.
McAuliffe’s answer? “You would have to pick him up off the floor.”
“Listen,” McAuliffe continued, “this guy got in my space, you want to get in my space, I’ve always said, Chris, you punch me, I’m going to punch you back twice as hard. This guy thinks he can intimidate everybody. It’s
